The Solar Pathfinder™ is a non-electronic/analog solar site analysis tool used to determine year-round solar access and shading patterns.
Sunpath diagrams show the sun’s average monthly path and solar time, helping you see when shading will occur throughout the year. Each diagram is specific to a latitude band, and we offer diagrams for every major latitude region worldwide to ensure accurate use anywhere.
Allows you to set true south by rotating the sunpath diagram to match your local magnetic declination using the adjustment tab.
The dome shows the surrounding site reflected over the sunpath diagram, letting you see shading directly on the seasonal sunpaths for fast, accurate analysis.
The instrument section is used to level the unit and align it to true north for accurate measurements.
The base provides a stable platform; use the tripod or beanbag to adjust height and position, keeping the unit level for accurate readings.
